Our Services

We take away any uncertainty or stress individuals feel when completing their own building projects in Sydney. We do this by offering a range of services and options to fit your budget and expectations.

From getting a new kitchen designed to getting our experienced renovation builder to do a small home renovation, we always ensure it is organised with as little inconvenience to you as possible.

Our main aim is to keep within budget and timeframe whilst helping you with any choices whilst offering our expertise every step of the way. We achieve this by drawing on our years of building experience in Sydney, and collaborating with our team of experienced experts and tradespeople. Furthermore, women builders in Sydney aren’t very common, so our diversity in that field widens our abilities and perspectives too.

The Middlewoman also offers a full Building & Project Management Service to help you with all aspects of the Design and Construction of your Renovation Building work, including helping you move in!

Services we offer include but are not limited to; Extensions, Renovations, House Designs, Council Applications, Repairs, Maintenance, Landscaping & All the final touches (carpentry, fly screens, curtains etc.).

Quotes/Estimates
If you decide that The Middlewoman is right for your situation then we can organise a detailed plan and costing on your Building or Renovation work. Our Director and Project Manager Sarah, is always on hand to inspect and resolve problems encountered by our service providers.
Approvals/Pre-Construction
When necessary, we can organise Development Applications or Complying Developments for your local Council. We understand the application process to get Development Approvals or Construction Certificates that your job may need. The cost of this will differ from job to job but we encourage you to enquire to see what we can do for you.

We use Department of Fair Trading guidelines and contracts, and are eligible for Home Warranty Insurance. For more info see: http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/.

Project Management & Building Services
We can Project Manage your job, or leave as much of it up to you as you require whilst still being in regular liaison with you throughout the construction process. We aim to be considerate of your other commitments and will strive to work within a timescale that suits your situation, and also ensure that our trades and service people work to the highest quality, and are trustworthy enough so they can work even if you’re out of the house.
Post Project
Many of our clients are so happy with our work that they continue to choose us for any future building needs – and we take pride in having happy clients. We are happy to come and resolve any issues that may come up after the construction, and can provide ongoing maintenance such as cleaners or gutter cleaners.

This is an honest, personalised and friendly way of “getting things done” in your home and for your business. Our Director Sarah is always available by phone to answer questions or resolve any project difficulties you may have. This is so we can familiarise ourselves with you more, providing you with better long term service.

Our trades people and service providers all have the appropriate licenses and insurances. Also, when a trades person is recommended to The Middlewoman (either by a client or another tradesperson) , we thoroughly check references so that we are sure they can to do the high quality work we require. We encourage service providers themselves to give us feedback on the other trades, so we collectively maintain the best possible standard of work and service.

For example: The painter will give his feedback on the plasterer or the plumber about the tiller. If they don’t think the work or behaviour is of the best possible standard we investigate why and rectify any problems.

We also encourage you to give us feedback on the service you receive so that we can all collectively provide the best building and project management experience to all future clients.
